The Gilded Louvre Home
Introduction

The Challenge
The design required a way to define the property edge without creating a cold or unwelcoming barrier. Additionally the presence of large existing trees meant the structure had to be carefully integrated into the natural surroundings while managing the heavy feel of concrete and stone.

Our Solution
We introduced floor to ceiling golden louvres that provide a soft visual rhythm and privacy while reflecting warm ambient light. The architectural footprint was designed to wrap around existing greenery allowing nature to become a ceiling of leaves for the outdoor spaces. Custom marble steps with integrated lighting were added to guide the transition from the street to the sanctuary of the home.

The Outcome
The completed residence feels like a living sculpture that glows with warmth throughout the day. The combination of the golden facade and the natural canopy above creates a serene environment that feels disconnected from the urban rush. Every detail from the striped marble flooring to the glowing recesses works together to provide a resort like experience that is both private and prestigious.
